The Decider

If I were a super hero I would be the decider. I’d decide who stays and goes. Anywhere and everywhere. I’d decide the weather. (Tropical thunder-storms followed by tons of rainbows. Always warm.) I’d decide to get good news everyday. I’d decide that everyone gets good news daily. Except the people that have hurt me. They would have to go to therapy and work on themselves first. I’d decide what kind of therapy they should do. I’d decide who gets punished and who gets rewarded and how.

I’d decide that a man with sea foam green eyes and large hands picks me up in a grocery store. (Whole Foods, chip aisle). I’d decide that he is funny and smart and kind and open and has his shit together and we fall in love. I’d decide how he fucks me. (Hard but tender. Lots of eye contact.) I’d decide that he would be just aloof enough from time to time to keep things interesting.
