Sugar, Sugar-Daddies, and My DMs

Just a few little sprinkles.

1.) I ate sugar and got a double eye infection. It’s serious, you guys.

Apparently, your eyes are the windows to… not your soul, but your gut. My gut has been ravaged by Candida since my first bout of covid, a few years back, so this is likely the cause of the Blepharitis - the condition that four separate doctors have agreed I suffer from. (Friends keep saying, “Maybe you should see another doctor.”)

Blepharitis sounds gross. It’s not like, oozing puss, but the oil glands get blocked, and then inflamed bumps appear under the eyelid skin. It’s more than a pimple, cause the bumps harden and then they’re just there. Each doctor has attempted a different treatment method.

One involved a boat load of antibiotics that fucked up my gut so much worse. My eyelid went from containing a small lump to immediately swelling when I eat sugar, gluten, dairy or anything delicious, really.
