You’ve heard of near death experiences. The same can be applied to dating. Nearly dating someone is not unlike dying and returning to earth to tell the story of what you saw on the other side. Though these stories differ in their lack of white lights, and ego-less angels. I present to you a case study of one such event.

Is it shallow if he’s deep? What if he’s fake deep? Yes, he’s famous for being a fraud, but the story still hits deep, thus revealing a universal truth. Yes, he’s famous, therefore I suppose I am shallow. But, I like to be inspired by the people around me. When I wanted to be a rockstar, I dated rockstars, probably hoping through osmosis I might be one too. You are what you eat. Now, I like to be around famous writers. Even if they’re deeply fake.
