A Good Goddamn Grownup Woman

Real talk about Noah from the Netflix hit, "Nobody Wants This". Also, I'm grown up and ready to settle down.

Now that I’m 42, I’m ready to make bigger commitments and take on more responsibility. Here’s what I’m manifesting:

1. A DOG

Last week I had lunch with a friend and as I was driving her home, she said she’d had a vision of me getting a dog. A protector dog. I’d been having this vision too, accompanied by an unfamiliar pull to open my heart a little wider.

“I know the dog you should adopt. He is the most beautiful Doberman and his name is Noah,” she said, and I screamed. Because just the week before, I was driving around with a different friend, talking about the show Nobody Wants This, and how amazing Adam Brody’s character, Noah is.

“You just need a nice Jewish boy named Noah,” my friend said. I agreed, and a strong energy propelled me to proclaim this wish out loud:

“Universe! For my birthday, please send me a Noah!”
